Keep the connection going.
A scholarship renewed. A book in the mail. A lasting connection to the islands.
Your gift helps sustain tuition scholarships, monthly books for young children, and Habele’s continuing commitments in Micronesia.
If you’ve supported Habele before, thank you. If you’re able, renew or increase your gift this year to help meet school costs and keep monthly books coming.
Make your gift.
Where needed most is selected by default, giving Habele flexibility to sustain scholarships, Young Island Readers, and continuing support for MicSem and canoe carvers. In PayPal, you can choose a specific program and give once or monthly. Review your amount, frequency, and purpose before confirming your gift.

Help keep good work going.
Since 2006, Habele has connected friends of Micronesia with students, families, and local partners. Whether you know the islands personally or are discovering them through someone you care about, you can be part of that connection.
Tuition, shared with families.
For 2026–27, Habele awarded 151 scholarships totaling $80,844.75. Families choose the school and contribute toward tuition; Habele pays its share directly to the schools.

A book each month.
Young Island Readers puts new books into the hands of Yapese or Outer Islander children under five living within Yap State, free to their families, through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
About $30 covers the books themselves: twelve books for one child over a year.
